On Saterday May 15th the Voralberg Cup was held in Austria. For Pax Valerya Boeravkina (juniors) and Tessa Rietbergen (children)traveled to Austria, together with Natalya Boeravkina (coach) and Margot Vos (judge).
They left Holland really early Friday morning to go to Austria by train. After some delays and
missed connections they finally arrived in Voralberg late in the afternoon. Friday there was a training
possibility and the competition was held on Saterday. The delgation stayed in host families.
Especially the Bulgarian team was really strong, they brought Monika Mincheva in junior category and Yordanka Andanova
in senior competition.
For Tessa it was her first competition outside Holland, but she did very good. Even though she had to did ribbon while all
the other gymnasts in her category did hoop, she managed to win the bronze medal with only strong routines.
Valerya competed in junior competition and did very good too. She ended on a good 7th place in a field of 17 participants.
Monika Mincheva made a lot of mistakes and ended 3rd.
In senior competition, the gold medal went to Caroline Weber (Austria) while Yordanka Andanova got 2nd.
