The Regional Competition for B-level gymnasts was organised by SV Pax. Competing clubs were
Omnia 2000, De Badhoeve, KO/GTVH and Pax off course.
The day started with the youngest gymnasts of category 4. This category is a combination of
4A and 4B, so there was a huge difference in level. More then 50 % of the gymnasts in this category
came from Pax, and Patty Groeskamp (Pax) managed to get the first place almost 2 points over
number 2, Roxanne Stoffer (Badhoeve). Janneke Wackwitz (Pax) got the bronze medal, with a fantastic
last jump in her routine without apparatus.
In category 3B three gymnasts competed for Pax; Martine Tromp, Nicole Tjan and Babette Bruyel.
Martine, who competes in this category for her 2nd year, won the competition easily, with more than
4 points difference between her and Yaela Echteld (Badhoeve) who won silver. Nicole and Babette moved
to 3B this year. Nicole did a stable competition as far as I've seen, she just missed the bronze medal
but got a good 4th place. Babette did good routines too, especially her free hands routine was great and the
judges rewarded this with a 3rd place on this apparatus. Eventually Babette ended on a 5th place.
Kimberley Borchers participated in category 2B. She had to start with her ball routine, but unfortunately she missed a catch and the ball rolled almost to the other side of the floor. Her rope and clubs routine were pretty good, so eventually she ended on a 4th place.
