The No Limits Sports Camps were organized from July 26th - August 1st. I was there together with Maaike and Roxanne from Pax, Tessa Herngreen, Kim-Manou Brockhoff, Tilly van Schaik and Eva Herngreen from De Badhoeve and Fleurine Menijn from Wilskracht.
We arrived at Saturday evening. After we unpacked our bags, the president of No Limits
Gymnastics had a little talk about the rules and stuff and we had the evening free.
We were sleeping in a boarding school, about twenty minutes walking from the sports hal.
Sunday was our first training. We had six hours training every dat, three hours in the
morning and three hours in the evening.
Except us there were six little gymnasts from No Limits: Tamara Tevdoradze, Amber Heijdens,
Liselotte Diels, Kelly de Block, Margaux van Hooijdonk and Bieke Bijlstra. There were also
two gymnasts from other clubs in Belgium: Liesbeth Jeunen and Tamara.
Our choaches were Jana Vesela from Tchech Republic and Jelena Surovaja from Lituania.
The first day was pretty hard training, especially because we just had holidays for about 4
weeks. The next morning we could hardly come out of our beds.
In the morning training, we used to do all kind of physical exercises and in the afternoon
also a bit, together with working with apparatus. We also had some ballet trainings.
At the end of each training we had some time to create a routine with a group of 4 people.
We showed that routine to our parents during the last training.
After the training we had to run back to the boarding school (about two kilometers) which
was pretty hard in the beginning, but it became easier soon.
Wednesday was a party-day; we only had two hours training because we would went to a swimming pool in the afternoon. We had pizza by lunch and pommes frites by diner and also ice cream in the evening.
After the last training on Friday our parents came and we showed the routines we created.
Then we went back to the boarding school and there was a barbecue.
I really liked this camp and I will go back next year!
