Pobokova and Vos to Europeans
BOSTON, Monday
Dutch Anna Pobokova from Bergen op Zoom and Lisa Vos from Hoofddorp qualified in Boston for the European Championships Rhythmic Gymnastics, that are held on June 4 and 5 in Kiev.
In the international tournament of Boston both gymnasts came up to the requirement of the Dutch Gymnastics Federation (KNGU), to reach at least 60.500 points on three routines.
Pobokova ended 2nd (91.300)after Anahi Sosa from Argentina (93.500). Pobokova was accompanied by her new coach, plural Dutch Champion Ramona Stook.
Lisa Vos ended 7th* with 77.100; the three scores were enough for the European requirement.
Due to lack of money at the KNGU both gymnasts traveled to the US on their own costs.

Dutch Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics Anna Pobokova has easily qualified for the Europeans in June in Kiev. The 16 years old gymnast from Bergen op Zoom ended in the Boston Open 2nd in the All Around competition. Pobokova, who is born in Russia, was the best in the routine with the hoop.
Lisa Vos, number two in the Netherlands, also earned a ticket for the Europeans with a 6th place in Boston
