On November 15th, three Dutch clubs (SV Omnia, GTV De Badhoeve and RKSV Wilskracht) organised
for the fourth time a international tournament for clubs from Belgium, Germany and Holland.
SV Pax was in the organisation for the first three times, but now we stepped out due to lack of
money.
Because there were some free spaces left, two girls of Pax were able to compete in this competition.
Michelle Tjon and Tessa Rietbergen took part in the competition of the youngest girls.
This competition was won by Nicole Wagner from TSV Bayer from Germany. She was helped a little by
the fact that she could do clubs instead of rope, but she was obvisiously the best anyway.
2nd and 3rd places went to Belgium, for Sjarai Burms and Anoushka Aerssens, both from Forza Ritmika
Gent. 4th place went to Michelle, who had a stable competition but with some mistakes in execution.
Tessa had some mistakes, she did less then at the competition last week, but she still managed
to get a 9th place.
In the junior competition, first two places went to Bayer Leverkussen again, with Olivia Maly and Jennifer Kohel. Third place went to Belgium, for Katrien Morbee from Forza Ritmika. And there was a fourth place again for Holland with Linda de Geus from invited club SVOD.
In the senior competition there were no gymnasts from Germany, otherwise I guess they maybe could have won all gold medals :). First place here went to Donatienne Geron from Les Provinciales Verviers (Belgium). She had a really high mark for her hoop (21.349) as the 2nd highest mark was only 15.499. The routine was pretty good, but she had a large drop and had to run after her hoop. In my opinion the difference didn't have to be that high. All medals went to Belgium this time, silver was for Anjulie de Wilde from Gent and bronze for Morgane Matthieu from Verviers.
Between the competitions, there were some very nice demonstrations. The one from Omnia was very cool, the girls danced in bikini and flippers. After the competition there was a banquet.
