Anna Pobokova, Dutch Champion of 2003, has decided to go to a new club on January 1st 2004.
Her new club will be 'Souplesse' in the Dutch city Hendrik Ido Ambacht.
Until now, Anna trained with Marina Avtouchenko at the club 'Sportuna' in Spijkenisse.
Anna's new coaches will be Ramona Stook (Dutch Champion in 1997, 1998 and 1999 and also in 1996
but by then it was a shared place with Lucinda Schuurman), Deborah Kwaijtaal and Wendy Hornstra.
The Dutch newspaper said that Anna needed a new challenge, after working five years with Marina Avtouchenko and GV Sportuna. Together with Ramona Stook she will prepare for qualification for the next European Championships. In September this year Anna participated at the Worlds in Budapest. She ended on a 50th place, which is the highest rank achieved by a Dutch gymnasts for the last 15 year.
